We turn to our fave celebs for some serious ~mane~ inspiration.

A brand new year (and decade!) calls for a fresh makeover, and one of the easiest ways to change up your look is by sporting a new hairdo. Plus, it’s a great way to ~level up~ and feel like a new and improved version of yourself.
Below, check out the six trendy hairstyles as seen on celebs!
1. Jawline bob
Bobs were huge in the latter years of the 2010s so it’s no surprise the trend is still going strong as we enter the 2020s. What sets a jaw-length bob apart from the others is it beautifully accentuates various face shapes. As Angelica Panganiban proves, a jawline bob looks chic when curled or paired with micro bangs, too!

Tip: Avoid having a bob that’s limp and lifeless by using a volumizing spray to add body to your strands before styling them.
2. ’60s Glam
A lot of retro hairstyles are making a comeback this 2020, and one of them is this ’60s-inspired look—just check out how gorge it looks on Toni Gonzaga. Recreate her elegant style by going for soft waves with a curling iron, adding height at the crown, and accesorizing with a pearl headband.
Tip: Cop the volumized look by teasing the top section of hair with a rounded blowout brush. You can also use it to create soft waves at the ends of locks.
3. Relaxed Waves
Everyone loves having bombshell beach waves. But for 2020, we’re predicting its softer, more natural sister will be taking over. As seen on blonde beauty Kate Bosworth, this hairstyle is an equal mix of straight and wavy, making it look a bit undone and majorly chic. And because of this, it’s easier to do it yourself, too!
Tip: Instead of using a curling iron, opt for a small flat iron. Its shape will help you achieve the soft, bended waves with ease.
4. Boyish Pixie
We love pixie haircuts because they can instantly change a person’s look dramatically, especially if you’ve sported long locks for the longest time. They’re a breeze to style, too. We’re loving Jessy Mendiola‘s version with a sleek side part as it looks effortlessly polished and casual at the same time.
Tip: To flaunt Jessy’s sleek part, style hair with a bit of leave-on oil, like a lightweight argan oil product. (It’s ultra moisturizing, too!)
5. ’70s Bangs
This medium-to-long fringe look is a great way to try bangs without fully committing to it. Take inspo from Hilary Duff
by parting your hair in the middle so it drapes around your face.
Tip: Before you use a hot tool, apply some hair serum to ensure your strands are protected from damage. Double the benefits by opting for a product with shine-boosting properties especially if hair is feeling dry and brittle.
6. Feathered Hair
Feathered hair is making a comeback albeit as a more romantic, sleek interpretation. If, like Maine Mendoza, you like your curls to frame away from your face, this is the perfect ‘do to wear to all your date nights and special occasions!
Tip: For extra dimension, use a smaller barrel to curl the middle section of strands, and a bigger barrel for the ends. This is where a curler with interchangeable barrels comes in handy.
